The registration comprises all INEOS Phenol sites worldwide to ensure unrestricted trade of our products.

All established uses and use conditions for our products are covered in the registration and new MSDS according to the REACH regulations are available on this Website under the header "Data Sheets".

For any further questions or discussions regarding REACH, our Manager ESHQ,
Dr. Michael Kleine-Boymann (Michael.kleine-boymann@ineos.com) is at your disposal.

REACH stands for the new European regulations on the Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals. It has entered into force on the 1st June 2007 and pre-registration of substances will have to be completed by December 2008.

We as INEOS Phenol are quite advanced in the process of implementing the new regulations and can assure all of our partners up and down the supply chain that we will be complying with the new laws.

It is our intention to pre-register and register all substances that we place on the market, thus making sure they will be available in the future. We have prepared Standard Suppliers’ Questionnaires for each of our products which we will be glad to make available to you upon request.

The registration of substances requires the assessment of uses and use conditions. At the time the Technical Guidance Document for REACH has been completed, we will contact our customers requesting these information on their uses of our products. Depending on the requirements we reserve the right to exclude some uses from registration.

If you have any further questions on INEOS Phenol’s position on REACH or the status of the implementation process please contact our ESHQ Manager Dr. Michael Kleine-Boymann (michael.kleine-boymann@ineos.com).
